As an Iranian who has experienced this firsthand, I wanted to create a platform that bridges this gap for my community. That’s how IranianDoctor.org came to life; a simple yet powerful online resource designed to connect Iranians with trusted, Farsi-speaking doctors who understand both medical and cultural needs.  

The Inspiration for IranianDoctor.org

As many of us know, finding a doctor who speaks your language and understands your cultural context can make all the difference in your healthcare experience. The frustration of miscommunication or feeling misunderstood when dealing with health issues is something many in the Iranian diaspora have experienced. Whether it’s a complex medical condition or a routine check-up, it’s crucial to feel comfortable and confident in the care you're receiving. Having worked in the tech industry for years, including my time at Microsoft, I became increasingly aware of the power of technology to solve problems and bring people together. I saw an opportunity to leverage this power to address a need that was deeply personal to me and, I knew, to countless others in the Iranian community.

IranianDoctor.org was built with a single vision in mind: to make it easier for Iranians around the world to find healthcare professionals who speak their language and understand their unique needs. The platform was designed to help people find Farsi-speaking doctors, specialists, and healthcare providers who can offer high-quality care in a language that feels familiar and comforting. Our mission is to empower individuals to take control of their health by removing barriers to communication.
